Blog Rules and Regulations

SEPI provides this blog as a service to all its members.  For those who are new to the blogasphere, a "blog" (shortened from the term web log) is a means of conversing with those who share similar interests from all over the world.  At this time we welcome announcements of anything you consider important to SEPI membership.  Simply visit this area of our website and get involved.  You can either respond to an existing posting (like this one) or you can start a new topic.

So that all enjoy and benefit from our blog the following rules and recommendations have been established:

  1. Be courteous and considerate of others.
  2. Be constructive and encouraging.
  3. Don't be too wordy.  Write as concisely as possible.  Others will be more likely to read your posting and find it interesting if it's concise.
  4. When starting new blog topics/announcements, use headings that are descriptive and clearly related to content in your posting.
  5. Please remember that this is an international forum and be sensitive to cultural, religious, and racial issues so your comments are not misinterpreted.
  6. Do not post commercial messages (e.g., items or services for sale).
  7. Feel free to post workshops and other professional educational opportunities but be sure that one or more of the presenters are SEPI members and the topic is related to psychotherapy integration.
  8. Please realize that SEPI retains the right to reproduce postings to our blog.
  9. Do not post any information or material protected by copyright without appropriate permission.
  10. When discussing clinical Issues always protect clients'/patients' confidentiality.

During the initial development of this blog all postings and replies will be screened for appropriateness.  As time passes and we all get comfortable with this new service this limitation will likely be removed.
